ELK POINT, S.D.—Amos M. Anderson, 75, of Elk Point died Wednesday in Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Elk Point. The Rev. Arthur Erickson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 915 of Elk Point. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Friday in the Anderson Funeral Home at Elk Point.
Mr. Anderson was born Sept. 12, 1908, at Elk Point and was a lifelong resident.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Post 915 and St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three brothers, Orvie and Ronald, both of Elk Point and Liewelyn of LaMirada, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Victor (Lillian) Kramer of LaMirada, Mrs. Richard (Adeline) Rhoten of Carlisle, Iowa, Mrs. John (Olive) Coverdale and Mrs. Burton (Arlene) Swift, both of Akron, Iowa.
