Richard G. Wilson, Sr., age 77, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Bay Park Community Hospital. He was born on February 7, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan. Dick was a 1962 graduate of Clay High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy, during Vietnam. He worked as a Forklift Mechanic for many years at Chrysler Machining Plant in Perrysburg before retiring. Dick was a retired member of the Jerusalem Township Fire Department. In his younger years he also worked as a police officer for Genoa, Elmore and Davis-Besse Power Station. He will be dearly missed.

Dick is survived by his sons, Richard (Liping Yu) Wilson Jr., and William (Jennifer) Wilson; grandchildren, Richard G. Wilson III, Christopher Wilson, William Wilson and Skylar Wilson; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister, Charlotte "Charlie" (Doc) Nicholson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie; and nephew, Roger Shull.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 10:00-12:00 p.m. where services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #35.
