He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and two brothers.
Mr. Stafford was a veteran of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after 40 years.
He is survived by two sons, Ray (Terry) Stafford, and Gary (Sandra) Stafford; five grandchildren, Kristi (Scott) Doyle, Mike (Michelle) Stafford, Greg (Allison) Stafford, Kerri (Charlie) Metcalf, and Zak (Jessica) Stafford; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Koper.
Graveside services will be Saturday, May 21, at 3:00 p.m. with visitation at 2:30 p.m., at Woodson Cemetery off Woodson Lateral Road in Woodson.
Arrangements are by Roller-Owens Funeral Home, North Little Rock.
