Walter Mays Jackson, of 119 Essex St. died at his home yesterday following a long illness. He was a native of Syracuse and an employee of the Halcomb Steel Co. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise K. Jackson; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Campbell; a son, Walter J. Jackson; two brothers, James and Durward Jackson; four sisters, Mrs. Benjamin Maurer of Baldwinsville, Mrs. Wesley Robinson of Pleasantville, NJ, Mrs. Augusta Lorber of New York city and Miss Beatrice Jackson of Baldwinsville and six grandchildren. Services will be held at the home at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Frederick C. Ellerman officiating. Friends may call at the home tonight and tomorrow.
