James "Pete" Warren Roquemore, Sr., 83, passed away on May 16, 2022.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:30PM on Friday, May 20, 2022 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Pete was born in Peach County, Georgia to the late Cebe Irving Roquemore and Minnie Lee Turner.

He was a member of West Macon Baptist Church and served in The National Guard. Pete retired from auto sales with over 60 years in the business.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Ryles Roquemore and son, James "Bubba" Roquemore.

Pete was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Survivors include his children, Debra Faye Long (Jerry) and Steven Roquemore; grandchildren, Kyle Honeycutt (Wendy), James W. Roquemore, III (Margie), Robert Roquemore, Stephanie Bennett (Kevin), Sierra Roquemore (Jon Clay), Kyle Gordon (Destiny) and Jackson James Roquemore; great grandchildren, Colby and Gabe Bennett; brother, Wayne Roquemore; numerous nieces and nephews.
