Terry Lee Moore, carried many titles through his life; loving husband, father, brother, Papa and friend. He made it to the Promise land on May 17th, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Terry's life began on December 31st, 1962 in El Dorado, Kansas; the son of Dennis and Betty (Martin) Moore. He married Suzette Gordin on June 5th, 1982 in El Dorado, Kansas. Terry worked hard always providing for his family, and he was best known for being a welder. He was always in demand. He also worked hauling hay, aircraft for 15 years and even owning a tire service shop. He did whatever it took to take care of his family and his people. When he wasn't providing for his family his greatest joy was spending time with them. Whether camping or grilling at home or a bike ride around the lake, Terry brought life and laughter where ever he went. For the last 10 years Terry and Suzette began building their farm and leaving a legacy his girls will continue; including his wife, Suzette, children Sonjia (Chris) Lemons, Terrysa (Weston) Carleton, Sierra (Jordan) Gladfelter; grandchildren Maxton Lemons, Cora Lemons, Maverick Lemons, Huxley Carleton, and Hartley Carleton. He is survived also by siblings Jack (Bert) Moore, John (Holly) Moore, and Crystal (Calen) Gibbs. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Betty Moore; sister, Serena Gibbs; brother-in-law, Michael Gibbs; nephew, Sean Gibbs; niece, Caitlynn Gibbs. Ever the servant heart he was an active member and deacon at First Baptist Church; where he kept the faith, never lost hope, and planted seeds of faith everywhere he went.
A memorial service will be held on Monday May 23rd at 10:30AM at the First Baptist Church in El Dorado. Memorial contributions may be directed to The Missions Fund at First Baptist Church in his honor to continue planting seeds.
