Maria Luisa Rodriguez, born on April 22, 1940 in Piedras Negras Coahuila, Mexico entered into rest on May 18, 2022 in Carrollton, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luis Segura and Maria Esperanza Segura-Miranda, and her brothers, Pedro Sergio Segura Sr. and Jose Luis Segura.

She is survived by her sister, Julia Segura Carney and husband Roger Carney; her son Eliseo Quiroga, wife Rosalinda and grandson Jehoshua; daughters Julia Quiroga and Dora Reyes; Dora Elia Rodriguez-Casey and husband David Casey.

Maria retired after thirty-five years of service as a lab technician from Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Everyone she encountered loved her beyond measure. She was known by her many nieces and nephews as 'Tia Prieta' and loved by so many family and friends. She loved music and enjoyed time with her children and family. Her infectious smile and warm heart will be deeply missed.

Her final resting place will be Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, Texas.
