Brenda's life was defined by two things: Her faith in Christ and her love of people. She touched the lives of many with her outgoing personality and active role in the teaching program of the Knight Arnold/Forest Hill church of Christ. Her love for the gospel message was evident through her many years of supporting missionaries and publishing the Engraving Heavenly Truths Bible class material. Brenda's love for people led her to open her home to family, friends, visiting missionaries, and even strangers. Her smile, hugs, warmth, and hospitality showed how much she truly loved people.
For many of her later years, she suffered greatly with various health issues, but she did not allow her pain to keep her from doing the Lord's work. She was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, teacher, and servant to all to the very end of this life. Above all, she was a faithful Christian. We long to see her again when we can be with her for eternity in the presence of the Lord.
A memorial service for Brenda will be conducted on Sunday, May 22, at 3:30p.m. at the Forest Hill Church of Christ, with visitation at 3:00 p.m. with services to follow..The service can be viewed live on the Forest Hill church of Christ YouTube channel: youtube.com/c/ForesthillcofcOrg/videos
