Obituary for Cathy Collins
Mary Catherine Collins "Cathy" passed away Thursday May 12, 2022, unexpectedly at the age of 62. She was born December 17, 1959 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Phyllis Jean (Witt) and John James Fager, Jr. Cathy had a very infectious personality and loved being the life of the party. She loved to listen to music, swim, dance, and could make friends anywhere she went. Cathy loved her tv shows, and would often be engrossed in The Sopranos and Breaking Bad marathons. She loved all kinds of animals. Over the years Cathy had horses, dogs, cats, birds, and even hedgehogs. She loved the water, and took any opportunity to be in the lake or ocean, her favorite trip was when she went to Hawaii. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Cathy is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Emad Mayahi of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; four siblings, Donna Classen of Beeville, Texas, Lee Ann Fager of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, John James Fager, III of Cleveland, Oklahoma and Mike Fager of Beeville, Texas; her longtime friend, David Dyer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three nephews, Jonathan Fager and his wife Tamatha of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brandon Fager and his wife Christina of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Garrett Fager and his wife of Cleveland, Oklahoma; her two fur babies, Gabby and Scooby; and several great-nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John, Jr. and Phyllis Fager.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 19th, 2022, at Floral Haven's Funeral Home Chapel.
