Elizabeth Ann Lamm, 75, formerly a resident of Greenville, died the morning of April 5, Palm Sunday, at Upshur Manor in Gilmer. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Bill Shaddox of Salem-Kinser United Methodist Church will officiate.
Private family burial will be at Memoryland. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Born June 29, 1933, in Fort Bragg, N.C., she was the daughter of Fred and Verona Clem and the eldest of seven children. She was married to L.W. Lamm on Jan. 16, 1954.
Mrs. Lamm retired from E-Systems. She was a member of Salem-Kinser United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful cook, horticulturist and loved singing and playing the piano. Her greatest joy in life was her family and friends.
Surviving are her daughters Jennifer Williams and husband David of Boone, N.C., and Teresa Thomas of Greenville; grandchildren Emma Williams of Jackson Hole, Wyo.,. Luke Williams of Boone, N.C., Cori Sasser of Greenville and Lacey Sasser of Jackson Hole, Wyo.; her beloved great-grandchildren, Tray Evans of Fort Worth, Tristian Sasser of Greenville, Raven McCallum of Greenville, Thailyn Bounthanh of Jackson Hole, Wyo.; sisters, Mary Jo Clem Popma, Frankie Clem Follis, Vicky Clem Wagner and Susie Clem White; brothers, Buddy Clem and Buster Clem.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her beloved husband L. W. Lamm and son Richard Lamm.
The family requests memorials be made to Salem-Kinser United Methodist Church or Beacon Hill Hospice in Longview.
Pallbearers will be nephews Luke Williams, Wade Clem, Eli Clem, Josh Clem, Christopher Ussery, Arron Evans, John David White, and Jerry Ginn. Tray Evans, Joseph Barker, Mark Wagner, and Brent Clem will be honorary pallbearers
