Helen Louise Lewis, age 87, a beautiful and loving mother of six, and adoring wife to Grady Lewis Jr, passed away on May 15, 2022. Helen was born on June 22, 1934, in Dayton, Ohio, and grew up surrounded by her family. Helen was a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others and she incorporated that into her motherhood. Helen loved to spend time with
family and had a passion for cooking and baking. Helen was a longtime faithful member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Helen was preceded in death by her mother Ruby Latimore Walker, father Nathaniel Parker, brother Ronald Lester Parker Sr., favorite cousin Beatty Jeter, and grandchildren Andrew and Victor. Helen is survived by her husband Grady of 58 years,
her children Bruce (Kim), Gary, Larry, Steven, Colleen, Carol (Mike), and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special mention of her cousin Don, nephew JoJo, and her nieces Lessie and Angela. Helen was loved dearly and will truly be missed. We will always carry your memory in our hearts forever.
