Eva Jane Bowman was born on August 12, 1937 in Shreveport, LA. At the age of 84, on Thursday, May 12, 2022, she passed away at Little River Memorial Hospital.

Her occupation was Bookkeeper and an Administrator of Little River Nursing Home. Her religious affiliation was Baptist. Eva Jane and John Robert Bowman were married for over 60 years. Their hobbies included camping and fishing. She was known for her dessert cooking, especially chocolate pie, apple dumplings and other sweets.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Robert Bowman and her parents Jim and Evie Gauldin.

Her survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Renita and John Dossett of Ashdown, AR and Jeannine and Larry Critchlow of Foreman, AR. Other survivors include three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are Tuesday, May 17, 2002 at 2 pm also at Madden in Ashdown with Ricky Bowman officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery off Hwy 108.
