He is preceded in death by his parents, William L. and Mattie Ruth Cochran.
Junior attended Salem Baptist Church of Dalton.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Samantha Cochran of Rocky Face, Steven and April Cochran of Tunnel Hill; brothers, Lamar Cochran and Roy Cochran, both of Cohutta; grandchildren, Emily, Kendra, Carson, Bethanie, Bryson, Colter, Chloe, C.J. and Gabby; and great-grandchild, Chandler. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 12, at 1 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Noel Caldwell and Rev. Byron Brackett officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug. 11, from 4-8 p.m. at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home.
Mr. Cochran will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens.
