Funeral of Late Mrs. M. J. Amick
The funeral of the late Mrs. Martha J. Amick, whose death occurred yesterday
at her home on North Main street, will take place at 3 o'clock on Sunday
afternoon from the First Baptist Church, of which she was a member, the
pastor, Rev. W. H. Carter, officiating, and interment will be in Mount
Hebron Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Messrs. Charles Parish, John
Parish, Turner Scrivener, Robert Johnson, Homer Orndorff, James Brown, Harry
Potts and S. D. McDonald.
Mrs. Amick is survived by the following sons and daughters: Messrs. James
Amick, of Winchester; Roy and Charles Amick, of Luke, Md.; William Amick, of
Romney, W. Va.; John Amick, of Alaska territory; Misses Retta, Margaret and
Mollie Amick, of Winchester; Miss Alma Amick and Mrs. Daisy Smith, both of
Luke, Md. Mrs. Amick was the last member of her parents' family.
