Robert Nathaniel Burton, 63, of Weldon, IL, passed away 8:04 PM, May 15, 2022, at the Warner Hospital and Health Services, Clinton, IL.
Services will be 11 AM, Monday, May 23, 2022, at the Crossroads Church, Monticello, IL with Senior Pastor Brian Raynard officiating. Burial will follow at Weldon Cemetery, Weldon, IL. Visitation will be 2 – 4 PM, Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL.
Memorials may be directed to Crossroads Church Worship Department or the Weldon Fire and Rescue.
Robert was born February 5, 1959, in Taylorville, IL, the son of Warren and Leva (Roberts) Burton. He married Carla Gaither November 17, 1979, in Atlanta, IL.
Survivors include his wife; two children, two daughters and their husbands; seven grandchildren and four siblings, three brothers and one sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Brandon Lee Burton.
Robert was a member and Elder at Crossroads Church where he was active on the Worship Team. Robert retired from the U of I Water Station. His biggest passion was music. Robert was a loving husband and father who adored his grandchildren.
