Born August 11, 1951, in Tift County, Mr. Anderson was the son of Carson Arthell Anderson and Martha Carnelia Winn Anderson. He was also preceded in death by one son, Toney Marcus Anderson, Jr.; one brother, Austin Anderson; and two sisters, Elaine Weeks and Betty Jo Walker. Before becoming disabled, he was a carpenter and a farmer. He loved his grandchildren and he enjoyed deer hunting and riding his scooter. He also served in the Georgia National Guard.
Mr. Anderson is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Traci Strickland of Chula and Tara and Eben Barnett of Leesburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Elvin McAllister of Tifton; nine grandchildren, Mark Strickland, Mak Strickland, Mason Strickland, Micole Strickland, Asche Little, Larkyn Little, Dorian Anderson, Draven Anderson and Amber Anderson; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
