Harold C. King of R.R.1, Lewisburg, died Thursday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline, and his mother, Mrs. Susan King.
Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Kramer & Moeller Funeral Home in Lewisburg with burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery at New Lexington.

Dies of Heart Attack

Harold C. King, 53, well-known Lewisburg man who resided north of town of Route 503, died early Thursday morning at Good Samaritan hospital, Datyon, where he had been admitted two days previously with a heart ailment.

He was a native of West Alexandria and was former owner and operator of a meat market in that village. He was a veteran of World War II, and served with an Army hospital unit in England for more than a year.
Final rites were conducted Saturday afternoon from the Kramer and Moeller funeral home with burial following in Sugar Grove cemetery. The Rev. O.F. Artopoeus, pastor of the Evangelical and Reformed church of West Alexandria, of which Mr. King was a member, officiated at the final rites.

He is survived by his wife, the former Pauline Markey; and his mother, Mrs. Susan King, who has resided here with her son and daughter-in-law for several years.

He disposed of his business in West Alexandria some 10 years ago and has since resided on a farm north of town.
