Daughter of Tommy Kimbrell and Bonnie Pitts Kimbrell. She was a member of Currahee Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emerson H Payne; brothers, Lloyd, Joe, Ralph, Howard, Wilkie, and Edward Kimbrell; and grandson, Joshua Carroll. Surviving are her daughters, Melinda Corona of Commerce, and Patricia Lewallen of Toccoa; son, Quinton Lewallen and fiancée, Brandi of Toccoa; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brothers, J C Kimbrell and Efford Kimbrell - both of Demorest; and sister, Katherine Rider of Gainesville.
