Scott Forrest Jones, age 59, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Baptist Downtown. He was born in Amarillo, Texas. Scott was the son of Kent and Freida Trotter. He worked in the petroleum industry for 38 years. He was the one you would call when no one else could fix it. There are very few people like him left in this world. Scott loved tinkering with all kinds of things but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed working on vehicles, shooting bows & arrows, grilling, watching Star Trek for the 1000th time, and sitting outside with the love of his life, Lorie enjoying the night air. Scott's absence will be felt for the rest of our lives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kent and Freida Trotter; aunt, Alta Hinkel; uncle, Cletus Hinkel.
Scott is survived by his wife, Lorie Jones; daughters, Kari Jones (Steve Spann), Amanda Clemons, Noel (Ben) Henderson; grandchildren, Christianna Johnson, Ethan Hodges, Ava Johnson, Madalynn Hodges, Chloe Clemons, Isaac Hodges, Jeremy Clemons II, Bowen Proulx, Weston Proulx, Victoria Henderson, Sophia Henderson, Railynn Jones; siblings, Jody Jones, Donna Descombes, Becky Rouse, Darlene Rodgers, Susan Albachten, Heather Kneece, Ginger Crosby.
