At his home, 129 5th St. in New Toronto, on Tuesday in 1935, after a few days' illness from a heart ailment. A veteran schoolteacher in this district. He taught in West Montrose for six years and in Arkell. For several years, he resided at 39 Durham St. in Guelph. Mr. Boal was a contributor to a number of periodicals and also a splendid speaker, both in the pulpit and on any platform and was widely known in these parts. He leaves five daughters, Mrs. J. P. Snider of ?; Mrs. George Gordon, Misses Annie and Vera, teachers in New Toronto; and Miss Evelyn in secretarial work and also a clever violinist; also one granddaughter, Muriel Snider of West Montrose.
