Ashley Dawn King, age 34, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at her home in Iola, Kansas.

Ashley was born May 15, 1987, to Kyle King and Dawn (Weseloh) Keener in Iola, Kansas. She graduated with the Iola High School Class of 2005. After graduating, Ashley furthered her education at Mary Grimes School of Nursing in Neosho County. She then spent her career dedicated to serving, helping, and healing others in the communities where she worked as a nurse. Ashley married Matt Wilson in 2005. Their union was blessed with four children. They later divorced.

The most important thing in Ashley's life was her children. She was dedicated to being their biggest cheerleader during dance classes and all of the sports they participated in. She was a very creative person that loved to crocheted and did anything crafty in her spare time. Known for her caring personality, Ashley was always the first one to rush to help anyone in need with absolutely no judgment. She will be greatly missed for her huge heart and smile.

Ashley was preceded in death by her sister, Danielle King; grandparents, Linda Weseloh, Harley and Jackie King, Virgil and Arlene Weseloh, Chet and Doris Bishop, and Scott King.

Ashley is survived by her four children, Justice, Jakoby, Tré, and Bella; parents, Kyle King and Dawn Keener; siblings, Kale King and Alexandria King; grandparents, Susie and Terry Call, and Jim Weseloh; numerous other family members and friends; and four-legged friend, Sister Sue.
