Frank S. Taylor, of Dry Branch, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at Stone Creek Baptist Church. The Reverend Mark Grinstead will officiate. The family will greet friends in the sanctuary one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Stone Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Taylor was born in Wilmington, NC and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the 11th Calvary "Black Horse" unit and received a Purple Heart during his service in Vietnam.

Mr. Taylor was a member of Stone Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, and was retired from Imerys Kaolin (DRK, GAK).

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Michael Taylor, Myrtle Taylor, Ronald Taylor and Sherry Greene.

Survivors: Wife, Louise Hortman Taylor; Son, Keith Shepard Taylor; Daughter, Jennifer Taylor (Michael) Nicholson; Grandchildren, Marcus (Kathleen) Taylor, Taylor Ann Nicholson, and Shepard Nicholson; 2 great grandchildren, Peyton Taylor and Kade Taylor; Brother, Donald Taylor, and sister, Sharon Taylor Kelly.

Pallbearers: Randy Kitchens, Brad Kitchens, Tommy Hortman, Robbie Brunel, Alex Hortman, and Michael Hortman.
