Mary Ellen Morris, age 81, of Owings Mills, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Northwest Hospital Center.
She was born June 3, 1940 in Baltimore, MD to the late Emmet Patrick Cavey and Agnes Ellen Kelley. She was the wife of the late David Herbert Morris who died in 1973.
Mary Ellen retired from the former Sweetheart Cup Corp., where she had served for 35 years.
Her hobbies were many; some which included making ceramics, going to tractor pulls and rodeos, shopping on QVC and the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. Her Sunday ritual was football and having pizza and beer. She also loved ice cream. Spending time with her family was always important to her.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Herbert Patrick and Tamara Lynn Morris of Westminster; daughters and son-in-law Jacqueline Ann Morris of Owings Mills and Sandra Lee and Thomas Branch of Manchester; grandchildren: Herbert Flint and wife Carrie, Taylor Joy and Alyssa Stull and great-grandchildren: Novalee, Jocelyn and Kingston.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, MD. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Ellicott City.
