Shirley Richardson was born June 11, 1943, to Ms. Ora Lee Taylor (d.) and Mr. Eli Tart (d.) in Weiner, AR. She was the eldest of the children. She accepted Christ through the Baptist faith. She later moved her fellowship to Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness. She served as a part of their congregation until her death.

She attended Booker T. Washington school after which she attended a nursing training program. After completion she served as a patient care assistant for over 30 years.

Our beloved enjoyed great conversations and recounting endless stories about her life. She will be well remembered in a loving way. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandfather Mr. Robert Taylor, Sr., Mother Ora Lee Taylor, husband Freeman Richardson, and four siblings: James Tart, Harold Taylor, Gloria Taylor, and Dorothy Brodie. Also preceding in death is her eldest and only son, Ervin Eugene Clark.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories a daughter Shelia Clark and her siblings Faye Smith (Levon), George Brown, Sam Sweatt, Terry Turnage (Charmyn) and Wayne Turnage (Pam); her grandchildren from Eugene Clark include Nikyia Clark, Antwan Garland, Ervin Clark (Camealle), and Lawrence Clark; her grandchildren from Shelia Clark include Laloni Clark, Ayeisha Clark, Corvaris Clark (Elaysha), Ayeanna Clark. She has an additional nine great-grandchildren (four great-grandsons, five great-granddaughters).

She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service: Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodard Funeral Service (Grace Chapel) in Jonesboro, Arkansas
