Ronald was born in Lynchburg, September 12, 1959 and was a 1977 graduate of E.C. Glass High School where he played baseball and following graduation received a full scholarship to play baseball for Liberty University. His love of sports lead to a 25 year career of coaching area high school sports teams. He was a retired P.E. instructor from the Bedford County Schools. His love of the outdoors led him to starting R & C's Lawn care and Landscaping. He was a lifelong member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. His favorite place to vacation with his family was Disney World. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.
He was preceded in death by his father, Horace William McGuire and his brother-in-law, Troy Arthur.
Interment: Fort Hill Memorial Park
