Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Monday, January 31, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Truman Johnson, retired Baptist minister, officiating.
Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Robert Massie funeral Home.
Mr. Torres was born August 15, 1955, in San Angelo to Gregorio and Dolores Romero Torres. Luis attended Rio Vista Elementary, Edison Junior High and Central High School.
When he was younger, he worked as a ranch hand with his father. In the early 1980's he founded L. T.'s drywall services and operated it until his death. He was a hard worker and great provider for his family.
Luis married Yvette Garcia in 1993. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, traveling, Tejano music, fishing and spoiling his grandchildren. He will be loved and missed by many friends and family, including his good friend Adam Reyes.
He is preceded in death by his father, and a son, Zacharia Torres.
Survivors include his wife Yvette Torres of Odessa; three children, Alana Hernandez and husband Robert and Dante Torres, Sr., and wife Ginger, both of San Angelo, and Adriana Pena of Odessa; eight grandchildren, Izabel Torres, Robert Hernandez, Jr., Anthony Hernandez, Dante Torres, Jr., Fabian Hernandez, Julian Hernandez, Aiden Armendariz, and Gianna Torres; his mother Dolores Torres of San Angelo; four brothers and sisters, Robert Torres and wife Elfie, Adela Leal and husband Roy, Sarah Chavarria and husband Pete, and Teresa Salas and husband Dago, all of San Angelo; and numerous friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
