Mrs. Hammond was a pharmacy technician for the old St. Anthony Hospital. She enjoyed baking cakes and sending out greeting cards.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Golda Donahue; her husband, James Hammond; siblings, Kathleen, Judy, Frankie, Jo Ann, John "J.E." Ernest, Howard, Gerald and a step-daughter, Sharon Maratty.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ron Marshall (Barbara), Eddie Marshall (Carla) and Brenda Gilbert (Tim); siblings, Myrtle Clarke, Pauline Jackson, Robert and Tommy Donahue; grandchildren, Bryan, April, Jeff, Amy, and Keith; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Breanna, Charlie, Everett, Logan, Morgan and Ivory; step-children, Jimmy and Mike Hammond, Brenda Moore and Donna Sinkhorn.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, 4:00 pm, at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held after 12:00 pm until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
