A loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and friend went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the age of 95. Nancy was born on December 1, 1926 in Lansing, MI to the late Rudolph and Vivian (Etzler) Karpinski. A lifelong resident of Lansing, she worked for the State Police and then married the love of her life George "Dick" White in 1954. She was often the hostess of neighborhood parties, an avid reader, loved her beautiful flower gardens, camping, enjoyed dogs, and while her husband was a wonderful wine maker she was his favorite wine tester. Nancy and Dick were longtime members of the Liederkranz Club where they loved Polka nights and taking the family to the club for dinners. Her famous Rhubarb bread, Sailors Duff, and Tapioca pudding will be missed by her family whom she loved so dearly. She was her grandchildren's number one fan and loved spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 61 years George "Dick" White in 2015. Nancy is survived by her 3 children, Greg (Barbara), Richard (Brenda), and Sue (Craig S.) White; 7 grandchildren, Josie (David Reicher), Travis (Buena) White, Lia, Tory & Ara Mihalik, Ryan (Jane Rasmusson), Christin & Taylor (Derick Thompson) White, Morgan & Marina White-Villanueva; 7 great-grandchildren, Sienna, Ashton, Jivin, Uencie, Amaziah, Abiah, Mary Jane, and a great-grandbaby on the way; sisters-in-law, Jane VanGorden, Barbara, and Jane White; devoted friend, Mary Lou Lane, and her nieces and nephews.
