Passed away January 11, 2008, in Lancaster, Calif., at the age of 84 years. She co-owned a independent Insurance Adjusting Firm for approximately 10 years. After that she worked as a Medical Transcriber for 20 years. She was the loving mother of William Harris, a niece "like my daughter" Katie Faris and husband Jim. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, Jeff Collins and wife Debbie, Patricia Hamilton, Cynthia Mentz and husband Yossi, David Harris, Jeremy Harris, Jarrod Harris, Kevin Faris and wife Carol, Kenny Faris, Sherry Faris, 23 great- grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Ralph Harris, daughters Janet Kay Hamilton and Nancy Jean Leff, grandsons Louis Miller Collins Jr., and Donald Howard Leff, granddaughter Shelly Ann Crenshaw. Also survived by sons-in-law, JB Hamilton and Charles Leff. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 17, 2008, at Mumaw Funeral Home, with interment at Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m., Thursday, before the service
