Hazel was born March 7, 1941 in Arp Texas to her parents Johnny and Irma Smith.
Hazel and her sister Betty shared an unbreakable bond, where there was one there was usually the other. She grew up in Colorado City and worked at the steam laundry here until she moved to Clovis, New Mexico. Her health brought her back closer to family when she moved to San Angelo. There they saw her spunky spirit and determination return. Hazel loved her church and her Lord above everything else. She worked hard but also knew the value in taking time to play. She could be found playing bingo many nights. Her nieces and nephews adored her and will miss her presence in their life, but know they have many memories and lessons learned from her. Her family will miss her sweet and loving spirit.
Hazel leaves behind her Sister Betty Miles and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
