Arnold Newton Phillips, 78, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at Fredericksburg Health and Rehab Center. He was born November 16, 1943 in Vallejo, CA to the late Prentice and Teresa Phillips.
He is survived by four children, Tracy Corbin (Danny) of Orange, Michael Phillips (Charlsa), Timothy Phillips (Chasity Clore), and Benjamin Phillips (Kim) all of Culpeper; one sister, Joyce Youngs; nine grandchildren, Victoria Phillips-Nicholson (John), Maddie Phillips, Olivia Phillips, Ella Phillips, Timothy "TJ" Phillips, Christina Cottoms (Taquan), Jessica Clatterbuck (Brian), Cora Phillips, and Chloe Phillips; and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Arnold is preceded in death by his first wife and mother to his children, Barbara Sharpes Phillips; his second wife, Shirley Myers Phillips; one sister, JoAnn Nelson; three grandchildren, D.J. Jones, Jennifer Jones, and Andrew Corbin.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, 4160 Rixeyville Rd, Jeffersonton, VA 22724.
