Patricia Dickerson Cox, 76, wife of John S. "Sammy" Cox, died Thursday, May 12, 2022 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee, Florence.

Mrs. Cox was born on January 12, 1946, in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late Gilmore Dickerson and Hazel Cook Dickerson. She was a graduate of Lake City High School and was a homemaker. Patricia was a member of the Lake City United Methodist Church, the Rutledge Book Club, the Wednesday Afternoon Book Club and the Junior Sorosis Club.

Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her siblings, Louis Dickerson, Ronnie Dickerson and Mattie Moyer.
