Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hillier Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery.
Lynette was born May 6, 1923, and was a graduate of Southwestern University. She later pursued a teaching career at Tascosa High School in Amarillo. Upon retirement, she returned to her hometown in Bryan. All who knew her loved her and we know God has a special place reserved for her in Heaven. Lynette was the loving mother of seven children.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Brown.
Survivors include six children: Lynne Dombrosky of Clearwater, Fla.; Marilyn Weaver, Susie Brown, Joan Moree, all of Amarillo; Becky Lavender of Angel Fire, N.M.; and Angus Brown of Houston; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
