Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Daniel Smith officiating and her son, Ron delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Beulah Anna Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 16, 2022, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Crawford's memory to West Pittman Baptist Church, 1603 Bradley Road, Westville, FL 32464.
Juanita was born in Bonifay, Florida on February 8, 1937, to the late Anglin and Nita Bass Coursey, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Marcus Crawford, USAF, Ret.; one son, Phil Avera; four brothers, Anglin, Jr., Arnie, Carie, and Don Coursey; one sister, Jeanne Bell Laird.
She is survived by one son, eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one on the way: three sisters, and many special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
