SULPHUR -- Services for Regina Lynn Carpenter, 50, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Malphrus officiating. Interment will be at Lightning Ridge Cemetery, Pontotoc County, under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carpenter was born Oct. 4, 1949, in Ada, to Clifford L. and Norma H. House Williams. She died May 3, 2000, in Sulphur.
Reared in Sulphur, she attended Oklahoma State University and worked as a receptionist at the Bailey Clinic several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Shawna Carpenter and Tanna Meeks, Sulphur; a son, Brian, Waxahachie, Texas; her parents, Clifford and Norma Williams, Ada; her grandmother, Viola Pipes, Roff; and two grandchildren.
Bearers will be Larry Shipman, Curt Cole, Jeff Meeks, Keith Woodell, Darryl Carter and Rendell Cole.
