Ben Clark, 76, of Woodville, died Sunday at his home.


Ben was preceded in death by parents, Tom and Myrtle Clark; brothers, Rayburn Clark and James Clark; son, James Earl Clark; and daughter, Charlene O'Neal.


He is survived by his wife, Lorene Clark; two daughters, Frances Anders and Lois Allen of Woodville; four sons, David Clark, Benny Clark, Donald Clark and Roger Clark, all of Woodville; three sisters, Margaret Kimbrough, Lucille Kimbrough of Woodville and Frances Anders of Paint Rock; two brothers, Thomas Clark of Woodville and Alton Clark of Paint Rock; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.


Arrangements are being handled by New Hope Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 9 today. Funeral services will be at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Dewayne Martin officiating. Interment will be in Kennamer Cemetery.
