Steven D Hammond passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children and now he has gone to be with his Lord and Savior. Steve was born and raised in Muskegon MI where he met the love of his life, Beth. From their union they were blessed with two children Emily and Daniel. Steve was a man of great faith and shared his beliefs in many forms, such as wrestling, playing/coaching softball or teaching Bible study. During his professional life Steve worked in industrial sales for thirty-seven years during which time the family relocated to Lansing.

Although Steve won't be here physically for the birth of his granddaughter coming in October, he will be looking down from the heavenly shores as the family welcomes their newest member. The family is comforted in the knowledge that they will be reunited with Steve again as they wait on the Lord.

Steve was preceded in death by his father and step father Donald; sister Carla and aunt Janet. Surviving to cherish his memories wife Beth of thirty-seven years; daughter Emily; son Daniel (Emily); mother Anita; sister Renee (Sean) and step-brothers Mike and Mark; uncle Ron (Linda); many cousins, nieces and nephews. Steve will be missed by all but not forgotten.

Visitation will be held at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home 520 E Mt Hope Ave, Lansing MI on May 15, 2022 from 2PM to 6PM. The funeral service will be held at South Church 5250 Cornerstone Dr, Lansing MI, 48917 at 11AM with one hour visitation prior to service. Steve will be interred at Oakwood Cemetery in Muskegon.
