Arthur S. Heink (aka Arthur Schumann-Heink) was a possible "mystery son" of Mme. Ernestine Schumann-Heink. Although he is mentioned in numerous records and newspaper articles about his famous mother, he does not seem to have been involved in the ongoing activities of his extended family. He is not named in published biographies of Mme. Schumann-Heink.

He was born in Hamburg although his documents show various other places of birth. He first arrived in the United States in 1908 and spent most of his career working aboard freighters, usually as a chief steward. He was married on 27 September 1916 in Los Angeles to Ruth Agnes Leach and became a naturalized US citizen at New Orleans on 15 October 1921. This marriage apparently ended in divorce.

He later married Florence (maiden name unknown) and they lived in Baltimore, Maryland until his death on 30 June 1934 at the Marine Hospital. He and Florence had at least two children. A number of obituaries mentioned his mother, but there was no known statement from her about the death of this son.

A death announcement published in the Baltimore Sun on 2 July 1934 stated only that his funeral and interment were private, and no further details about his death or burial have been discovered. His full identity and potential connection with Mme. Schumann-Heink remain unconfirmed.
