Alberta was born February 2, 1939 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Elvira "Minnie"(Morgan) McIntyre. She married Carlyle T. Lanham on January 31, 1959 in Rapids City, Illinois. Alberta was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and Rolle Bolle. She and her husband Carlyle also liked to travel.
Bert is survived by her husband, Carlyle; daughter, Kathy Lanham, Dallas, TX; and grand dog, Peaches; nieces, Christie, Michelle, and Jennifer and Aunt Barb along with their respective families. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Elvira "Jig" McIntyre and Irene. Bert's family would like to give special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Cedarhurst Assistant Living who went above and beyond...Wanda, Alicia, Anna, Ann, Stephanie, etc. Also, Compassus Hospice who gave comfort to her in her finally time with us.
There will be a wake after the services at Jimmie Lee's Bar & Grill 108 S Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275 at 4pm the day of the service.
