He was born May 18, 1959, in New Martinsville, WV the son of Paul Blake and the late Sandra (Long) Blake.
He was a retired coal miner with Blacksville #2 Mine; a member of the Moose Lodge #931, New Martinsville, and the UMWA.
Brent enjoyed farming, riding his buggy, operating heavy machinery, tinkering in his garage, and helping people.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Grant) Throckmorton, of Proctor; a son Ryan (Amy Taylor) Blake of Wheeling, WV; his father, Paul Blake of New Martinsville; brothers, Bruce (Grace) Blake of Weirton and Kip (Sandy) Blake of New Martinsville; three grandchildren, Jensen and Grady Throckmorton, and Mason Blake; a girlfriend, Debbie Berisford; the mother of his children, Charlene Heinzman of New Martinsville; several nieces and nephews; and his garage buddies, Chuckie Taylor and Justen Beaty.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 1pm in Joliffe Cemetery, Silver Hill, WV.
