Mr. Watson was born July 3, 1918, in Oronogo, MO. He played semi-pro baseball earlier in his life. He retired from Bendix in 1976, after 26 years of service. After retiring, he moved to Carterville, MO, near his birthplace. Pete was proud of his membership in and accomplishments with Alcoholics Anonymous. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Watson, in 1976. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sharon Watson of Overland Park, KS; a sister, Ruth Grimes of Phoenix, AZ; three grand-daughters and one great-granddaughter."
