Mrs. Barbara was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of the late, Mack and Louisa Owens Burroughs. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Pleasant Hill High School where she worked in the cafeteria.
She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, working in her yard but most of all she loved her family especially her grand and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Doreatha Burroughs, Nina B. Tanner, Leroy Burroughs, Annie Ruth Rowe Eaddy, and J. P. Burroughs; sons-in-law, John Henry Tilton, Will Dennis, and Bobby Davis; daughter-in-law, Channon B. Owens; great-grandson, Samuel Edward Ard.
