Funeral Service for Anita Joy Barber, 88 of Poteau, Oklahoma will be at 2pm on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Poteau First Freewill Baptist in Poteau, Oklahoma with Jim Cook, and Corey Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home
Anita was born on April 18, 1934 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Esther Pearl (Cox) Cofer and Martin Wade Cofer and passed away on May 10, 2022 in Poteau, Oklahoma . She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony Kerbow, Bill Barber; sister, Wadene Ward; She attended First Free Will Baptist, 20th Century Club, and The Women's Aux., teller at Central National Bank, and professional shopper.
Survivors include: Daughter, Trayce Kerbow Riley; grandchildren, Tristin Riley,Tony and Misty Riley; great grandchildren, Kainan Riley, Kaydi Riley; sister, Shirley Slate and Joe; brother, David Cofer, Ron Cofer and Marsha; extended family; John and Janita Hendricks and family, Russell and Belva Barber and family, Ron and Debbie Barber and family; beloved caretakers; Kathy Vineyard, Charlee Rust, Vernon and Ruby Midgley, Kay Cusick. Numerous nieces and nephews and host of loved ones and friends.
