In the early morning of April 7, 2022 at 2:05 am during roll call Rose Mary number was called by her heavenly father, to reunite with her parents Mary Glover Robertson and Ozimae Robertson.

Rose Mary was born on January 4, 1953 the 4th child of 12 to the late Mary and Ozimae Robertson. She joined holy matrimony to Martin Dean Jr. on December 10,1988 and to their union the had 4 children 1 adopted child and multiple foster children.

Rose Mary a childhood dedicated member of Carmelite Monastery where her and the nuns shared great memory from childhood to adulthood she dedicated monthly monetary donations in their effort to feed the poor. She also enjoyed attending her community church at St. Paul Catholic Church.

Rose Mary was a phenomenal mother, friend, caregiver, grandmother, neighbor and just simply everything for her family. Her dedication to keep her family together was her lifeline. At the age of 22, Rose Mary, begin her journey to motherhood. She was given several foster kids with disabilities and suddenly she became their sister. She fulfill her duties in their care and provided them with all the Love life could imagine until their race was over. She prided being a grandmother with so much care she loved her babies and they treasured everything about her. Rose Mary never complained she took on every obstacle like a champ just with her faith in knowing God never gave her what she couldn't handle. She carried her cross with full armor. Her love to help anyone despite where a person was in life was indescribable. She opened her home to everyone she loved everyone and was always the one trying to keep the peace. In 2008 Mama Rose started a ritual at a family operated kitchen Kenneth Soul Food to feed the homeless. EverySunday meals were prepared fresh and served after the homeless shelters were close for the evening so that the homeless could have a meal to go to bed with. As she wanted to do so much more the embracement from the area held a special place in their hearts for her and they continue to follow her even if it meant them taking her trash out the outpour of love was shared. Mama Rose loved her siblings she was the 4th child but took on her assignment as being the oldest keeping them all in line and making sure they kept the family as one. She and her older sister was two peas and the pot definitely the definition of the "Golden Girls". Two sisters that always had their rosary in their hand praying for everyone. They faithfulness to Christ was their bond. They had the opportunity of sharing over 30+ years together until they moved into the same room if you wanted a good laugh all you had to do was spend the day with them. That was truly her everything. Her promise to take care of them was everything to her until God said it was time for her to rest. Mama Rose enjoyed being dolled up the only lady I know who wore stellates without a stumble. She enjoyed dancing, family gatherings, cooking her famous rice dressing and food for days. She believed in cooking large meals because she always knew no one had to be invited she always planned for the big turn out, and she was never wrong.

God saw his daughter fight although she never complained her encounter with God was so close she secured her cross and her peace on this earth and on April 7 she surrendered. She leaves fine memories as faithful servant to her loving children 5 children: Shelton Paul Leblanc Jr., Amanda (late Phillip Anderson), Frank Robertson, Joseph Robertson all of Lafayette, Louisiana and Elizabeth Robertson Celestine and her son-in law Jason Celestine who assist with her final care. Her loving siblings James (Susan) Robertson of Colorado, Springs, Co, Dennis Robertson, Eugene Robertson of Lafayette La., Savana (Greg)Young Breaux Bridge and her loving oldest sister Theresa Robertson of Lafayette, Louisiana. Her great aunt Pearl Robertson of Duson, La. Her grandchildren Jasper Robertson, Jeremiah Robertson, Arieyonna Wilson, McKenzie Robertson, Dylan Paddio, Gage, Messiah, Cierra, Josiah and Zachary Robertson and her extended grandchildren who she shared so much love with their upbringing Marcus,Trey and Travis Faulk. Her sister in laws Marie Dean and Shelia Dean and one brother -in-law Hebert Dean. Her friends she loved as sisters Bernice Harrison and Eula Andrus. Her bonus daughter who she cared for Rodie Dean and her God children Georgia Edmond and Jaclyn Jones.ose Mary proceeded eternal life to join her husband Martin Dean Jr., her parents Mary Glover Robertson and Ozimae Robertson. Her 2 sisters Betty (Morris) Thibeaux, Gertrude (Frederick) George, William Robertson, Joseph Milo Robertson, Claiborne Robertson and Paul Sidney Robertson. Her maternal grandparents Estella Boudreaux Glover and Eugene Glover and paternal grandparents Agnes Livings Robertson and Adam Robertson Sr. One grandson Joseph Kenneth Paddio Jr. her son in law Phillip Anderson. And a dear special friend Audrey Wardlaw.
