Robert "Brownie" Earl Wood, 79 of Vernon, Florida went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2022 at his residence.

Robert was born November 13, 1942 in Woodville, FL to Charles Wood and Ada Barefoot.

Robert was a lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle, and worked as an Electrician by trade. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors fishing and deer hunting with dogs. Most importantly he loved to spend time with his kids, grandkids, great grandkids and lifelong friends. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Ada Wood; brothers: Red, Buddy, Charlie,Bogie, Billy; sisters: Luverne, Lucille, Florence, Sybil, Jeri.

He is survived by his daughters: Cyndi Park (Marty) of Beechgrove, TN, Jeri Mathis of Florella, AL; 7 grandchildren: Michael, Tasha, Jamie, Candice, Mark, Martilynn, Melody and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held 10 AM May 12, 2022 at Vernon City Cemetery with HL Brown officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida Directing.

Robert "Brownie" Earl Wood, 79 of Vernon, Florida went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2022 at his residence.

Robert was born November 13, 1942 in Woodville, FL to Charles Wood and Ada Barefoot.
