Graveside services for Donna Michelle Jackson, 57, of Plainview, TX, will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 11, 2022, in the Abernathy Cemetery, Abernathy, TX, with Rev. Joel Perez and Rev. Richard Dye officiating. The Jackson family will gather from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 10th, to receive friends at Abell Funeral Home. Services and burial are under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy.
Miss Jackson died Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Plainview, TX.
She was born March 6, 1965 in Lubbock, TX to Jimmy Leo and Marvin Lucille (Campbell) Jackson. She graduated from Abernathy High School in 1985. She attended Northside Baptist Church in Abernathy, where she resided until moving to Plainview in 2013. She liked to sew and do all kinds of art work and painting. In later years she enjoyed calling bingo at Prairie House.
Donna is preceded in death by her Mother, Lucille Jackson, January 10, 2005 and her grandparents.
She is survived by her Dad, Jimmy Jackson of Plainview, TX, a brother, Les Jackson of Park City, KS and 2 nieces, Amber and Brittany Jackson.
The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
