Lee "Verl" Conder, 87, passed away on May 5, 2022, in Provo, Utah. He was born March 6, 1935 to Leao and Sarah Marintha Marble Conder in Austin (Frog Town), Utah. He married his sweetheart Gale Evans on June 10, 1954.

Verl graduated from South Sevier High School in 1953 where he was a star wrestler and developed his passion for art. Verl was a hard and dedicated worker with Union Pacific Railroad where he retired after 44 years. He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, riding horses and 4 wheelers, being a "cowboy!" and spending time with his prized possessions, his kids.

Verl is survived by his loving wife Gale, children Tammy (Gary) Wiedel, Richard Conder, Cindy Garff, Jeana (Brian) Bertram, Mike (Laura) Conder, and Roger (Rebecca) Conder; 136 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents Leao and Sarah Conder, (Lilly Barney Conder), brothers Vance and Ned, sisters Ruby, Marcela and Ardeth; granddaughter Denise Lynn Garff, and Beverlee Hollingworth.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan. A viewing will be held from 12:30 – 1:45 pm prior to the services.
