Mary Katherine "Kathy" Keller, of Palestine, Texas, formerly of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on Mother's Day, Sunday, the 8th day of May 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She passed away six days after celebrating her 79th birthday. Mrs. Keller was born in Houston, Texas, on the 2nd day of May 1943, to parents Paul Murphy and Katherine Cobb Murphy.

Mrs. Keller was a devout Catholic. She was a member of St. Jude Shrine Church in Stafford, Texas. She had a large heart of gold and always thought of others before herself. Mrs. Keller loved making people laugh and had a great sense of humor.

Mrs. Keller was a very talented and intelligent lady. Her interests included acting, singing, song writing, and story writing. At the time of her passing, she was writing a memoir. Mrs. Keller was also very creative and enjoyed crafting presents. Christmas was a favorite time of year for Mrs. Keller. She went to great lengths to make it an especially memorable time for her family. Mrs. Keller and all the good memories shared will live on forever in the heart of her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Kathrine Murphy; daughters, Rhonda Kelly and Colleen Kelly; and brother Paul Murphy, Jr.

Mrs. Keller leaves behind her husband Ron Keller; daughters, Anne-Marie Keller of Palestine, Katie Keller of Kent, Washington; sons, Tim Keller of Tyler, Chris Keller and wife Allison of Palestine; sister, Barbie Murphy; and grandchildren, Elan, Billy, Anne, Tennyson, Alexander, Miles, Maxwell, and Sarina.

Friends are cordially invited to a rosary at half-past one o'clock, on Thursday, the 12th day of May, in the Rhone Memorial Chapel. Following the rosary, all are invited to a visitation with the family, beginning at two o'clock, prior to the start of the service at Rhone Funeral Home.

A funeral service to celebrate Mrs. Keller's life is to be conducted at three o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 12th day of May 2022 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jordan Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Palestine, Texas.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Tim Keller, Chris Keller, Elan Ben-Moyal, Alexander Oestmann-Keller, William Young, and Miles Keller.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions in Mrs. Keller's memory can be directed towards Rock Bottom Ranch, P.O. Box 3482, Palestine, Texas 75802.
