Theresa Jean (Brackfield) Ferguson, 83, of North Baltimore passed away at 10:18 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2022, at The Heritage in Findlay. She was born on October 23, 1938, In Cincinnati to the late Gene and Marion (Moore) Brackfield. She married David Ferguson on May 9, 1959, and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2004. They had five children: Bart (Rhonda) Ferguson, Bret Ferguson, Gwyn Ferguson (deceased), Kristi Ferguson and Kathi (Rob) Bucher.
Theresa started and loved the Red Hat Ladies of North Baltimore and was their Queen Mum for 15 years. Theresa held numerous jobs in her life but working as the Bakery/Deli Manager at the Robert's IGA was the position she retired from. She was very active for years in her kids and grandkids lives attending sporting events and various programs.
She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Jennifer Mason, Audra (Tyler) Benschoter, Chase (Courtney) Ferguson, Courtney Ferguson, Miranda (Paxton) Eakin, and Jaden Bucher. Madisyn, Ethan & Charlotte Ferguson, Caleb Mason, Lane, Loften & Lowen Benschoter, Serenity, Keagan & Presley Ferguson, Elliana Douglas, best friend, Leona Augsburger.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, William (Bud) Brackfield; sister, Ashelia Brackfield; and great-granddaughter, Tenley Benschoter.
Per Thersa's wishes all services will be private. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore. Arrangements are being handled by SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
