Delta, Utah – Margaret Taylor, 78, passed away Monday May 2nd, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born October 27th, 1943, in Delta, Utah to Leland Lamar Sanderson and Bernice Justet Sanderson. She married Bruce Wilcox Taylor December 20th, 1963, in the Manti Temple.
Margaret and her four sisters (no brothers) were raised in Delta. She graduated from Delta High school in 1961. She attended college in Cedar City where she met Bruce Taylor. They later married and moved to Battle Mountain, Nevada and then to Grantsville, Utah. They eventually moved back to Delta where they raised 10 children (3 girls and 7 boys). Margaret liked to draw and oil paint. She had many talents, including doing crafts, sewing and quilting. She loved water skiing and spending time with family and friends. She was known for always giving service and had many church callings including Primary, Relief Society, and cub scouts. She enjoyed cooking, making cards, and spending time with her sisters. She was admired by many for her beauty and sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband Bruce Taylor of Delta, UT; Children – Shelly (Glyn) Ussery Orangeville, UT; Travis Taylor, Delta, UT; Ginger (Bryce) Moody, Deseret, UT; Burke (Kristie) Taylor, Highland, UT; Kristen (Dallin) Anderson, Delta, UT; Jade Taylor, Hinckley, UT; Tyson (Danielle) Taylor, American Fork, UT; Nicholas (Mandy) Taylor, Delta, UT; Randy (Alma) Taylor, Delta, UT; Dustin Taylor, Delta, UT; Sisters – Patty (Dave) Petersen, Hinckley, UT; Rosemary (David) Lovell, Delta, UT. Preceded in death by parents; sisters -- Karen Talbot, Sandra Bishop; grandchildren – Taylee King.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 6th, 11:00AM, at the Delta 3rd Ward building (197 S 300 W). A viewing will be held at same location on Thursday, May 5th from 6:00 –8:00 PM and on Friday, May 6th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
